BTW Pinot Grigio

Tasting Notes

Did you know… Unlike other fruit, grapes do not continue to ripen once they have been picked. White grapes are picked during the coolest part of the night, whilst red grapes are picked just as the sun is rising and the grapes begin to warm.

Colour

Youthful pale straw.

Aroma

Fragrant citrus and pear.

Palate

Pear, zesty citrus with a touch of blood orange.

Food Match

Thai fish cakes with sweet chilli sauce.

Winemaker Notes

The juice was cool fermented in stainless steel with aromatic yeast strains, with a small portion on skins to add zest. Aged further for three months on yeast lees to add layers of flavour. The wine was bottled early to preserve the primary fruit characters and freshness.
