A sensory treat, the Zilzie Estate Merlot delights with its aromatic blend of spice, blackcurrant, dark cherry, and plum. Bursting with juicy black cherries, it carries a lingering hint of dark chocolate and finishes smoothly with soft, silky tannins.

Pair the Zilzie Estate Merlot with either herb-crusted rack of lamb with a red wine reduction or Mediterranean stuffed capsicums with couscous and feta for a delightful dining experience.
Selected parcels of Merlot were fermented in rotary and static fermenters. Post-fermentation, the wine spent seven to ten days on skins before a gentle pressing. It was then matured on French oak for three to six months, prior to blending and bottling. The resulting wine displays excellent depth of colour, richness, and a complex array of flavours.
