Deep brick red.


Red and blackcurrant balanced with spicy spearmint and oak.


A palate ripe and full in structure, where the balance of menthol and mint intertwines seamlessly with the richness of ripe blackcurrant and plum. Supported by mature and rounded tannins, this wine holds the promise of graceful aging.

Food Match

Slow cooked beef cheek with a creamy herbed mash potato or a selection of ripe cheese.

Winemaker Notes

Premium parcels of McLaren Vale fruit were carefully selected and picked over a two-week period to optimise varietal flavour. Subsequently, following the meticulous harvesting, the juice underwent warm fermentation on skins for eight days before being delicately pressed into stainless steel. The resulting wine underwent both malolactic fermentation and maturation, nurturing its potential within medium to tight-grained French oak. This deliberate oak choice not only adds length and toast, but also beautifully complements the ripe regional McLaren style, creating a harmonious and distinctive expression.
