"... This is a terrific rendition. Pressings fermented in older barrels, free-run juice into stainless steel, then partial transfer to barrel and left on lees to build texture. Spicy, juicy pears, lemon juice, and grated Granny Smith apples. Excellent length, with fine, chalky acidity and grapefruit pith phenolics. It's crisp, very dry and deliciously good."

"Fermented warm on skins for 8 days, fermented in stainless steel and matured in French oak. Retains McLaren Vale generosity while also pursuing a more aromatic and fine-aged style. Aromas of black fruits, dusty cacao, spice and a hint of eucalyptus. Fabulous oak-tannin balance on display here, a light touch brings some classy fruit forward to be fully enjoyed."
